O Derivatu 08
This year's Derivat, the eighth in a row, offers the optimism of a new beginning, a beginning from the acquired experience of optimism without banality. On the outskirts of Bukovica, in the exceptional ambience of @PUEBLO ESCONDIDO, exceptional musical and artistic works from poetic blues, avant-garde jazz, through live act beat groove to techno come together in their originally concrete and precise format. Under, we hope, the clear sky of an extended weekend, on the first day of summer and on the eve of the national anti-fascist holiday. In addition to the musical program, there will also be fair activities, workshops for children in the evening, with the inevitable bar of the BRLOG craft brewery. The program is, as always, a complete dramaturgical journey. We like to stick to the announced schedule, so don't be late - you will miss the important ;)

JOŠ GORI
Heavy OptiMycstic Poetry Start
After a ten-year absence from the stage, Aleksandar Stojković ST, the frontman of the legendary defunct band Goribor, is reviving in a new form with his old theater collaborators, the Sinkauz brothers, ("Malo je dovoljno" - teatar&td), award-winning musicians with a wide range of practice from club performances (East Rodeo, Roj osa), through theater works to award-winning film works. The Sinkauz brothers are a superb duo of musicians and improvisers who elevate ST's heavy optimystic poetry into a new chapter of "hypnotic dessert blues and avant-garde electronics" ( Stajčić RDD). After successive sold-out concerts in Novi Sad, Belgrade and Zagreb, we listen to them at Derivat starting at dusk.

SKIER&YETI
Heavy OptiMycstic Circus Clutch
A unique duo coming from Belgrade's artistic underground, Skier and Yeti are equipped with skillful breakbeats, heavy bass, stripped-down riffs, a penchant for nonsense and their own blend of musical instruments handmade from winter sports equipment, these creatures mix rakija with low rock, bass sound and psychedelia like a wind turbine above PUEBLO ESCONDIDO surfing an avalanche. After Još gori they ignite the fire of a circus explosion of rhythm and lead us towards midnight, encouraging joy and dancing.

LANA
Heavy OptiMycstic Beat Closure
Lana Orlović is a DJ and producer from Benkovac and a member of the collective RITAM. Through her sets, she explores groove techno, rave and trance aesthetics, building a story through hypnotic loops, raw bass lines and sound that slowly spreads through space. She is attracted to darker, more monotonous and emotional layers of electronics. In her performances, she loves repetitive moments, a gradual rise in energy and a feeling of being lost together in sound, strobe and rhythm. Lana also develops her own production, inspired by underground culture and late hours, when sound becomes the only way to understand space and turn it into a small, isolated world.
